Josh Regan

Owner / Head Coach.

Josh Regan began his journey in combat sports at a young age, training in boxing in Hamilton, Ontario. From early on, he developed a strong foundation in discipline, work ethic, and respect—principles that continue to shape his approach to both training and coaching today.

Over the past decades, Josh has remained deeply committed to fitness and performance, competing extensively in CrossFit within the Hamilton community. This experience not only sharpened his physical capabilities but also reinforced his passion for pushing limits and helping others achieve their goals.

In addition to his competitive background, Josh has trained at several highly respected martial arts gyms in Hamilton and now in Chatham-Kent, continually expanding his knowledge across multiple disciplines. His well-rounded experience allows him to bring a balanced and practical approach to coaching, whether working with beginners or experienced athletes.

Josh’s journey is shared closely with his son, Hunter Regan. Together, they remain active in the competition scene, particularly in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with Hunter also competing in kickboxing and preparing to transition into MMA in the near future. Their shared dedication reflects not only a commitment to the sport, but to each other and the growth that martial arts fosters.

A key influence in Josh’s martial arts journey has been Thomas Armstrong, whose guidance and example have further strengthened Josh’s appreciation for the art, the discipline, and the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities.

As a coach and gym owner, Josh is driven by more than just athletic development. He is passionate about building a strong, supportive environment where people of all ages and skill levels can grow in confidence, fitness, and character. For Josh, martial arts is not just about competition—it’s a lifestyle that creates lasting connections and meaningful change in everyone who walks through the doors.

Coach Chris portrait

Coach Chris

With a martial arts journey spanning over two decades, Chris brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the mats. Beginning in traditional arts like Taekwondo and Kung Fu, he eventually found his home in the precision and power of Dutch-style Kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Training Kickboxing styles since 2008, Chris was awarded his Blue Shorts by the renowned Ajahn Suchart (Siam No.1) in 2013. His pursuit of a complete martial arts game led him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2022, where he currently holds the rank of Blue Belt.

Chris’s coaching style is rooted in traditional Muay Thai, focusing on the raw technique and “simple-yet-precise” movements that make the art so effective. He believes that with the right instruction, every student can reach their personal peak—whether that means stepping into the ring or simply improving their health and confidence.
